Dormitory Life

Grace Baptist College has purchased several different on-campus and off-campus buildings that provide student housing in a safe and secure atmosphere. The college is constantly attempting to upgrade facilities and purchase more housing for increased enrollment. Security is provided seven days a week on all church and college properties from 10 PM – 3 AM. Grace Baptist College is also in a good standing relationship with the local law enforcement of Gaylord allowing both the college and police to work together in the event of a problem.

Dining Hall

The dining and kitchen department of Grace Baptist College strives to offer a well-liked and well-balanced healthy menu for students. A fresh soup and salad bar is made available each day. Mondays usually feature a larger and more home-cooked meal which helps set a good tone for the week after a busy weekend. Saturday mornings the kitchen provides a full breakfast buffet.

Holy Grounds Cafe

Each day Grace Baptist College provides a fun and enjoyable environment for students to feel at home and to relax. The college coffee and snack shop, Holy Grounds is one of those places where students often find it easy to rest between classes, hang out in the evenings, or study. Equipped with a fireplace and large flat-screen TV (message board), this is an area where many spend their time. Each morning the TV screen features current news events reviewing the past 24 hours (commercial free and previewed), as well as educational and informational documentaries and special interests.

It is our goal to help our students stay up-to-date on current events and social issues. (The average student will vote for the President of the United States for the very first time while attending college. It is our purpose to provide information that will help students vote intelligently.) The message board also displays information about current college activities and photo highlights of past events.

Bookstore

Monday through Friday the college bookstore is open. Snacks, books, music CDs, polos, sweatshirts, and t-shirts are all available. The school store also provides basic everyday school supplies. The bookstore is the sign-up center for all special activities and the center for receiving information about any current college events. From brain food study packs to sweet mail, there is always something fun, new, and exciting at the store.

Grace Baptist College is a local church ministry (Ecclesiastical Corporation) of Grace Baptist Church of Gaylord, Michigan, and is not, and has no intention of ever becoming, a liberal arts college. The sole purpose of Grace Baptist College is to train Christians to serve in the ministries of local New Testament churches of like faith and practice. Grace Baptist College is not licensed or approved by the State of Michigan and does not guarantee that any of its degrees or credits will be recognized by any other institution. Grace Baptist College is not accredited by any person, organization, or government agency. While Grace Baptist College is not accredited, the course of instruction and the individual classes are widely accepted by fundamental colleges and mission boards as college-level work.
